On the 3 April 2023, Stewart McGettigan was presented his RAAF WO Warrant by Group Captain Dennis Tan, better late than never.
Stew your commitment to the Royal Australian Air Force and the values it represents, has made a tremendous impact on our nation. Your tireless efforts, unwavering courage, and selfless sacrifice have helped to secure our freedom and protect our way of life. Your leadership, professionalism, and expertise have been an inspiration to all those around you. Your unwavering commitment to excellence and your ability to overcome adversity has set a high standard for all those who serve alongside you.
We are truly fortunate to have you as a member of our defense force, and we are grateful for the countless sacrifices that you and your fellow service members have made on our behalf. Your service and dedication to our country will always be remembered and appreciated.
